ghosttropics I met David years ago at an ambient show that both of us were solo-ing and we became immediate friends. He's always had such an undeniably genuine approach to his art in a way that i find so incredibly admirable. He is a true freak/weirdo and i mean that in the best way possible. In a world where too many artists are catering to others, this is a person who makes art for himself, and the world he creates for himself just happens to be fucking magnificent for us to experience as listeners.

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. Not many bands can be this deeply personal to where it can strike a unique chord in me. Im not one that says this about any bands ever but this band has gotten me through a lot.
